This is coming from the buyers perspective now.
Over the past couple of weeks I've been shopping on eBay to save a few £.
For one item, the seller and I agreed a fair price and he kept saying that he would send the counter offer in 5. I would wait, then ask him could he do it please. Followed by profuse apologies for not doing it, he got caught up in work. Alright, I understand. He kept doing this, dragging it out all week, before adding another £50 on to the price of the Buy it Now. In this time I missed a cheaper deal as I was sticking to my word with the first seller.
Today I spotted a pair of trousers that are £50 in the shop online, including delivery. On ebay, the same pair were £50 + £2 p&p. I messaged asking if they could deliver in time for Christmas. I then responded asking if they'd take £45 (as a starting offer, I was willing to go to £47
). I then received a retinue of 'abusive' messages.
"I am sick n tired of ur tipe" "ur a time wastr" "I'm actually tired of potensial customers, specially ur tipe who insult me with this tipe of offers" sic.
Alright, don't like my offer, fair enough. Just politely say "No thanks", that'll do.
