That's so funny, I ordered something online and the owner delivered it by hand ...

because he realised when he was writing the address on the envelope that he lived in the next road to me. That was a surprise. Grin It's a gorgeous set of cufflinks for DH's Christmas present and I had thought the shop was in the West of Ireland but it's actually in Dublin. I was looking at about three or four online shops so I must have got them confused.

I once had a Hermes parcel delivered by the same elderly man who delivered the local free newspaper. No delivery van, just brought round by hand at the same time as he was doing his paper round. An absolute one-off for me.

I bought some tickets to a blur gig on eBay and found the seller lived on my street! Not so surprising that they lived in my city but they were about 20 doors down!

I sold some stuff to a guy who lived about 10 miles away. I took it over rather than go to the sweat of posting it (it was a large item). The guy who bought it was my DS's boss.

I made my first sale on EBay this week to a woman who lived a stones throw from my childhood home

I resisted the temptation to message her with I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE didn't want it to affect my feedback
