Which F&B pink?

DP and I can’t agree on which Farrow & Ball paint for two year old DD’s bedroom, it’s between two: ‘setting plaster’ and ‘pink ground’. I prefer the latter as it’s subtle but still rosy and pretty but he’s a fan of drab colours and thinks ‘setting plaster’ is more elegant. Has anyone used either of these shades or could I just get your opinion on the attached pictures please? The first one is ‘setting plaster’ and the following two are ‘pink ground’

Pink ground is much nicer.

I prefer setting plaster as I think pink ground is a bit sweetie pink.
Which does your daughter prefer seeing as it’s her room.

IWannaBeYourFordCortina · 18/12/2018 18:52

Pink ground definitely

Pontingss · 18/12/2018 18:54

@Sexnotgender I did ask her which colours she wanted and she said “green and purple” Grin if I can’t convince DP to agree to a rosy pink, I’m pretty sure green and purple don’t stand much of a chance!

Green and purple sounds lovely Grin

We have just used Pink Ground. Its a wonderful blush. Love it!

Pontingss · 18/12/2018 19:03

It sounds like most of you agree with me. I really hope I can convince him!

We have calamine (I know it's not one of your options) and it's a lovely soft pink.

seven201 · 18/12/2018 19:07

Pink ground looks lovely

Needallthesleep · 18/12/2018 19:09

I love the new sulking room pink, though know that’s not in your choices!

The frugality on Instagram has just done her baby’s room a beautiful F&B pink

womanhuman · 18/12/2018 19:10

We’ve just used pink ground in our room. It’s really not sweetie pink.

Pontingss · 18/12/2018 19:35

@seven201 we did look at calamine and liked it but DP decided it was too mauve when we saw it in daylight. I imagine it looks gorgeous though

@Needallthesleep I haven’t seen sulking room pink! Going to google now! I love the name!

@womanhuman I will pass that on to DP, I think he’s worried it will not be drab enough Hmm

I’m trying to imagine it with all my DDs pink stuff in. I think it would be good - quite calming in the face of the pink onslaught, but still very definitely pink.
(We used a pale yellow on DDs room so she could have as much pink in there as she wanted without it making my eyes bleed... Might that appeal to your DH better?)

ThousandCows · 18/12/2018 20:32

Another vote for pink ground! It's lovely - wish I'd seen it when we did our lounge! (We have Dulux 'Almost Oyster', which doesn't look a million miles off...)
