Just made the most yummy boozy coffee using these. Make coffee in the usual way with hazlenut granules then pour the latte liqueur in place of milk.

Tis the season. 🤗

Oh - for anyone concerned about my measures, the liqueur was already open and half gone!!

That hazelnut coffee is yum.

Ha! Yes, I did think you might have been a bit heavy-handed. But your spelling was too good.

Sounds yummy.

chickhonhoneybabe · 18/12/2018 13:19

Oooh I might have to try it! How much do both cost?

Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 13:24

Liqueur is £7.99. Coffee couldn't have been more than £2 or I'd have noticed.

They also had a proper espresso liqueur which was dark brown and prob far fewer calories but I wasn't sure what I'd make with that. Probably if you added a load of cream, you'd make an awesome cocktail but then surely it'd just taste like the latte one I bought? Any ideas?? I'll probably need a new one by next Tue!!

I tried the hazelnut coffee a few weeks back - it absolutely stank the kitchen out, even with the lid on and cupboard closed. DH ended up throwing it out as DC's wouldn't go into the kitchen with the smell!

chickhonhoneybabe · 18/12/2018 14:25

@Doonewanker thanks, I’ll investigate at the weekend. Is the liqueur nice enough to drink on it’s own?

Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 14:26

Jellyonawonkyplate - what?!? Mine doesn't smell in the slightest?!?

OP posts:
Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 14:28

chickhon - yes, with an ice cube. Just a coffee tasting Baileys. (This is how I have drunk the other half of the bottle.)

I got that liquer last year. It's lovely, never thought to do anything with it other than pour over ice though Xmas Blush

Aph413 · 18/12/2018 14:30

Promise I'm not drinking it as we speak I just can't spell liqueur it seems

Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 14:32

Their eggnog is stunning in ordinary coffee as well

marvellousnightforamooncup · 18/12/2018 14:34

I get the Lidl fake Bailey's in mine. It's usually less than a fiver.

foxessocks · 18/12/2018 14:34

That sounds really nice! Thanks for the tip op might look out for this.

Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 14:34

And for £4.99. Same price as Aldi's knock off peach schnapps and Malibu which I also bought last time I was there. I bloody love Aldi!

chickhonhoneybabe · 18/12/2018 14:43

OMG! I’ve just had a look online and they also do some gin liqueurs. Guess I’ll be going to Aldi this week then! 😂

Doonewanker · 18/12/2018 14:49

Same. Getting some Ameretto for £4.99 too. Just checked and it's £8 from Tesco for same size. It will be such a boozy Christmas for us all. Xmas Smile
