Public transport to Bluewater Shopping, Kent

I posted this on a Kent Local board, but not heard back. If I get the train to Greenhithe station, will I be able to get a bus from there to Bluewater shopping? When I look at Google maps it seems to say I'd have a walk of at least 18 minutes as well as the bus ride. Also, would I pay by cash or contactless on the bus?
Thanks

There are buses. Details on the Bluewater website here:

Very wise to bus rather than drive.

Yes, there's a bus service from Greenhithe. But be warned, if you attempt to go any time before or during the Christmas holiday, your bus is likely to spend a fair amount of time sitting in the queue of traffic waiting to get in.

In fact, I'll give the same advice I just gave to someone on a London thread - don't do it.

Jan/Feb after the schools have gone back will be much quieter.

Thank you. So there's not an 18 minute walk when you get off the bus like it says online?
Do you pay by cash or contactless?

No it’s not that far - it runs from the station to the centre- takes bloody ages though:
Can’t recall how you pay for it, haven’t done it
In a decade

The bus goes right into the bus station at Bluewater, at the back of M&S. 18 minutes probably refers to how long it would take to walk from Greenhithe Station. No-one would do that, though, because the route isn't really designed for walking.

Don't know how you pay on the bus, but buses in Kent generally don't take contactless, so be prepared to use cash.
