TNT delivery

DH is having a parcel delivered from Turkey. He placed the order approx 15/16 Dec. TNT details say we can track the shipment. Says it's estimated 21/12.

It hasn't even left Turkey yet, or so it seems. When I track it, it says as the picture....

It's not going to get here for the 21st, surely?

Give TNT Customer Services a ring and ask them what's going on. I've found them to be amazingly helpful, especially with parcels from overseas.

Sounds like the issue may be more with the sender rather than TNT but TNT should be able to tell you that's the case or not.

@HundredMilesAnHour Can I call on DH's behalf do you think? Fortunately it's not a christmas gift. We had however, arranged delivery to my work so that someone was in. If it doesn't reach us by 24th then he won't be able to get it until 2nd Jan, or after as we have a close down.

Only one way to find out!

It’s only the 18th today. So pickup today/tomorrow and then a 24-48h service should get it here by the 21st no problem.

TNT have merged with FedEx now and I know that the FedEx international infrastructure is excellent. I don’t see this being an issue.

cjt110 · 18/12/2018 13:42

Apparently it's not even been collected in Turkey yet

I had a parcel that was still showing on tracking as being in Kiev when it was delivered to my UK address. I wouldn't worry too much just yet but maybe give them a call if you'll need to replace.

Still plenty of time. It will be flown into a hub, sorted and then out to your local depot for delivery. That can happen in less than 24 hours.

@Bombardier25966 Thats cool.

It's for DH's and mine nerdy hobby so not the end of the world if it's delayed
