How late before you worry...?

For your period...?

Was due on over the weekend, thought it was annoying timing because i was going to be seeing dp (LDR, seem to have had about 1000 periods since we gor together 6 months ago...😒) so was glad when it never showed up.

No on day 31 of a normally 28/29 day cycle, longest its been in the last 6 months is 30 days.

I have a copper coil so i would have thought the chances of falling pregnant are pretty slim?

How long would you leave it before getting concerned?

I'd just poas to put my mind at rest.

SoyDora · 17/12/2018 12:42

I’d probably pick up a cheap test to put my mind at rest. No point worrying when you can just POAS and find out one way or another:

I find the more I worry the later it is! Generally if I put I nice pair of underwear on it arrives ha. If you’re worried I’d do a test just to put your mind at rest.

Another vote for doing a test so, if you're not, you can stop thinking about it. Normally I'd wait til 7 days overdue, personally, but at this time of year it might be useful to know ASAP in case you want to start avoiding alcohol.

I was kind of hoping that it would force it to start by posting this, but no such luck...

If i were to POAS would it need to be morning pee?

I POAS if it is about 3 days late. Its not late very often so I start to get paranoid if it doesnt show up in a timely manner. Its probably just late but the only way you will know for sure is to test.

WeCameToDance · 17/12/2018 14:20

Also no, you can usually test with any wee on the day of a missed period.

DiamondsInTheMud · 17/12/2018 15:00

If its not started by this evening im going to go out and buy a test, ill drive myself insane thinking about it otherwise...

Im already thinking about how on earth to tell dp/my parents/my friends etc and i dont even know whats going on yet 😂

Did a test, negative.

So no period yet, but no baby either!

Must just be taking its time...

I have a copper coil and last month I was 4 days late for the first time ever! I did worry but I was just late

Thistles24 · 18/12/2018 12:58

I left it 2 months before worrying, was 12 weeks pregnantShock

DiamondsInTheMud · 19/12/2018 22:48

In case anyone was interested, on day 32, period showed up today with a vengence...

Curled up in a ball with cramps, but also just relieved it decided to make an appearance!
