How to stop email going to junk on iPhone

Does anyone know? I'd say about 75% of emails from DH go into my inbox and 25% into junk.

The only advice I can find online is to move email from junk to inbox. But that isn't stopping the problem from occurring.

I get a load of crap in my junk box so prefer to just delete it all without looking rather than trawl through to see if there's anything legit in there.

I'd be very grateful for any advice how to stop this.

If you go to the emails via safari or laptop you can mark the sender as safe or add to contact list. Or via the mail app click on the email address and add to contacts

Tissue - thanks but I'm useless with IT. I've no idea how to open my email other than by clicking the mail app on my iPhone or iPad.
And if I open the mail app I don't see a list of contacts

But I'm not using an Apple Mac, just an iPhone and iPad and I can't see how to apply any of the options in your link.

If you click on your DHs name in an email on your iPhone, you should be given the option to Add to VIP. That should make sure it goes into the inbox.
