Yes, happy birthday! It's my ds2's birthday today and DH's on Thursday. Luckily, I didn't produce ds2 on DH's birthday because that would mess up an already not ideal birthday date!

Thank you. It’s mine on Thursday and, while DH has bought me a lovely handbag and we are away on holiday, I don’t feel much like celebrating it as it’s my first without my mum!!

It's my friends birthday on the Friday, inconvenient time but I'm going out of my way to make sure he has a nice present and that the day is firmly BIRTHDAY and not christmas despite the fact that I am firmly in christmas mode from the last firework going off because it would drive me insane and feel really low having my birthday overlooked because of christmas and my friends not prioritising or being able to enjoy my birthday because they're busy with everything else.

Ah. . Thank you. Mine was yesterday. It's been a horrific year and having a birthday near Christmas at least means everyone is in a good mood, even if very busy. Mr feelyourpain is on Sunday. Happy Birthday 🎂 to all the other yuletide birthdays out there

Thanks Xmas Grin mine's on Sat but I am having a pre-birthday Chinese takeaway tomorrow with dh as he is working a night shift on Saturday.
It does take a bit of planning to have a good birthday so close to Christmas. I'm lucky as I like something fairly low key, but I do like a little outing to town or a garden centre for Cake and it's a bit disappointing when they are so busy and heaving with stressed out Christmas shoppers that you can't even get a table in the cafe. Other than that I do enjoy most things about the time of year as I love having the decorations up and most people are in good spirits, plus there is masses of good food about including my beloved mince pies.

It's DS2s 18th on Thursday and I have actually managed to get family together to celebrate, not something I've managed very often due to the usual seasonal clashes.

It’s mine tomorrow! Been very low key this year ( normally spread out over a week 😀) but cba with the having to book and getting deposits from people because, hey, it’s december 😡 Work is so busy though that some chill time is all I’m
looking forward too

Earlier DD asked me to “stop going on about your birthday, it’s nearly Christmas”....err, I only suggested we go out for tea to celebrate. She is only 8 though so I’ll forgive her self-centredness.
And perhaps remind her to stop going on about her birthday as it’s nearly the summer holidays next year 😂

I don’t have a December birthday but my mum & nephew both had birthdays in the last few days and my DS’s birthday is on the 25th.
