What can I get MIL for Christmas?

I know I'm leaving it quite late...

MIL has been an absolute godsend to us this year and I'd really like to show our appreciation. Not a huge budget, maybe £30 (I have already got her a book and some nice socks). I am absolutely stumped so would be grateful for any help.

Something with a personal touch would be great. She doesn't really have any hobbies- most of her time is taken up with her retired greyhound sanctuary.

There is a company called Kingston Calligraphy (www.kingstoncalligraphy.com) who do a print of a greyhound with quotes about greyhounds inside, I bought FIL one for his birthday! Think it was about £15 or you can have it framed for more (I bought a frame from Wilkinson’s separately).

No idea re gifts but my DIL wrote some really nice words in my Christmas card which were better than any gift.

Do you sew or knit/crochet? Could you make her something?

The greyhound print is lovely but I think she has something similar already.

Sadly I have no artistic talents so making stuff is out of the question. Plus I'm working all week, have 3 dc at home and am moving house on Thursday so time is something I am lacking somewhat at the moment.

I will definitely write something nice in her card but I know she appreciates it if DH writes her card out so I will get him to do that too.

My DIL sent me a separate Mother in Law card from the one they sent me from them both.
