What is it? I love ginger drinks so sounds good!

You get a 100ml bottle of concentrate from the coop, boil up sugar and water, leave it to cool and then add the concentrate. It makes about 4.5 litres.

Its a really syrupy gingery Christmassy drink. It's fab!

The bottles are sold I think exclusively in Scottish co-ops.

Ooh sadly I dont think we get it down here (I am in furthest deepest south and as far away from Scotland as you can get ..)

Pah- that looks sissy stuff- you should try this instead. My Auntie used to make bottles of 'ginger wine' every year that was so hot , it cured colds

People do sell it for inflated prices on eBay if you are keen to try it. I could send a bottle to anyone that's really keen (as long as I don't get inundated with requests!)
