Turned my laptop on and it just kept saying starting but nothing happened. I turned it off and on again and it said the system needed to repair. I did this and it took a while then said it can’t be repaired and it just switched off. I then turned it on again and it seems to be fine, touch wood. I have anti-virus and it’s up to date and saying no viruses.
I have an external hard drive - if I back up everything to that Will it be ok? It won’t damage the external hard drive in any way? There’s no virus showing so that could t get transferred. I have most stuff on the external hard drive already but need to add a couple of recent bits. Don’t want to do that though if it’s going to affect the other stuff on there.
