Very dull - but how to ‘reopen’ a closed roll of sellotape?

You know,, when the roll has welded itself shut and you can’t pick open? Digging open with a knife just seems to have gouged the roll.

Appreciate this isn’t the most exciting of threads

Run your finger round until you find the end and then pick it up with your nail. Isn’t that literally the only way?!

Try dipping your finger in a TINY amount of oil and rubbing it against the edge of the tape keep rubbing gently and eventually the tape will come up but it takes patience make sure you wipe away excess oil off before you pull too much tape up or it won't be sticky

Lick round it till you find the lose end !!!

Score across it with a sharp knife/open blade of your scissors then pick from the score mark. Fold the end over on itself when you find it so you don't lose it again.
