Reflective strips for waterproof coat

I need to put some reflective strips on the DCs' coats. They are waterproof and I don't think I can iron them and I definitely can't stitch them but they need to be washed occasionally. What can I stick on that will last in the wash?

I used SOLAS (safety of life at sea) tape from eBay on dd’s bag and scooter - not sure if it would work on a coat though.

What about a reflective tabard over the coat instead?

Try the Bright Kidz website. If you can't find strips, then an alternative would be reflective zippers that you can attach to their zips, plus reflective bags and bright accessories (hats etc).

Fin I tried a tabard - hidden under School rucksack from the back. A reflective rucksack cover is better but some unpleasant kids tease her about it, so she’s very reluctant to use it.

They'd wear covers or, actually, stickers or tape on their rucksacks. Good idea.
