I think Steps were slightly bigger.

But then maybe I'm being influenced by the fact that Steps are still selling out arenas and making new music? Whereas S Club are an embarrassment nowadays.

They were both very successful though. I'm not sure there's a right or wrong answer.

I think Steps were probably statistically more successful but S Club were definitely better and their songs have had more longevity.

I’d say s club but DH would say steps. Maybe it’s an age thing? We have an age gap and were at different point of our lives then which could skew our perceptions. But s club had tv and s club juniors (and is still a poster of them on one of the cupboards at work 😂)

Steps kind of came before S Club though so they overlapped a bit, if I remember rightly, so there was room for both.

S Club have the better songs. I was in my first year at uni when Miami 7 was on CBBC ... we used to watch it before dinner. We wouldn't have watched a Steps based program
