To use instead of wrapping paper cos it can be recycled....

I've only seen the thick suitable for posting stuff recently or individual sheets

use newspaper instead.

I got some in poundland. Feels the thickness of reasonable quality wrapping paper so not too thick. I wrapped today with it and worked well for me

I'd have to buy newspapers and I don't!

Thanks I'll look in Poundland

I got a massive roll from amazon that is decent quality and cheap.

Hobbycraft usually has loads of it.

Ikea

Post office.

Wilko, for a bargainous 35p a roll!

greenpop21 · 15/12/2018 18:27

Thick can be recycled too. I use it every year as wrapping paper and jazz up with ribbon collected and sprigs of Christmas tree cuttings or string. Always goes down well and can be recycled. Also you get 5 or 10 m on a roll!

With the envelopes in Asda and Tesco, and B&M have extra wide rolls for about £1.50.

Iwantamarshmallow · 15/12/2018 18:43

The hobbycraft one is horrible. It's crumples up really easy and mine had nasty marks on it. The pound shop one is the best.

I got some from IKEA last year, I have some left but wanted one extra roll and then I went to get it a week ago they had sold out and weren't getting any more in.
