Where to go in London?

Going to have a few hours free in London next week (evening).

Where are the best Christmas lights / decorations? Or anything else not to be missed at this time of year?

Carnaby Street is good this year. It’s Queen themed.

Ooh - thanks for that LostInShoebiz. Spending a couple of days in London this week so will definitely factor in Carnaby Street.

Somerset House! The flood lit outdoor ice rink surrounded by bars and cafes (including a mini rink with push along polar bears for little ones to use), a Fortnum & Mason shop with wonderful gifts. So festive and everyone so cheerful and friendly. Near the Strand which has fab street decorations and only a short walk to Convent Garden which is beautifully decorated and festive.

Another vote for carnaby Street. And Regent’s Street always nice.
