Just seen another, there's a few and they seem to mostly be quite goady

Us teachers are goady fuckers.

Bobbiepin · 15/12/2018 09:29

At the end of that term you're lucky its just goady!

Those pesky teachers. Get back to work the lot of you.

Hoppinggreen · 15/12/2018 10:00

I Imagine they’ve just about had enough by now.
Don’t blame them

continuallychargingmyphone · 15/12/2018 10:01

Where?

CupoBlood · 15/12/2018 10:04

Just to be clear, I know teachers, I don't have a problem with teachers, just noticed a few that seemed off and like they were there just to cause a fight.

MaisyPops · 15/12/2018 10:04

There's always teachers on MN.

I don't think a couple of grumpy ones at the end of term is any more unusual than the number of parents posting about how they've encouraged their child to ignore rules, told their child not to attend detentions and now they are fuming their child is in isolation and it's a total human rights issue.

In all walks of life there are a few PITAs. Most people are reasonable.

MrsHerculePoirot · 15/12/2018 10:05

That’s because we only work 9-3 and have all those holidays. It’s the same reason people are flooding to our profession as it’s so easy and well paid. Oh no hold on.....

HalloumiGus · 15/12/2018 10:27

I know what you mean OP. I saw two by a poster called pineapple95 and one just seems like a windup and the other one a gf thread. Haven't commented on them.

VersaceMcClatchey · 15/12/2018 10:29

I’ve personally been disappointed in this year’s Nativity offerings. Haven’t seen one ‘my child is the third Peruvian from the left WTF’ or ‘why isn’t my child Mary?’

catkind · 15/12/2018 10:32

There are regular trolls who pretend to be teachers too. The ones that pop up under a new username and post something controversial. Threads often get shut down as PBP. Is that what you mean OP?

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 15/12/2018 10:34

It’s a good topic area for goady froth trolls. I tend to ignore them.

HalloumiGus · 15/12/2018 10:37

I like those ones too Versace. Third Peruvian from the left made me snort 😁

MaisyPops · 15/12/2018 10:38

What about a child getting 3rd lobster and someone being raging at the inaccuracy of such casting.

Then again, the outrage at a religious nativity thread was the gift that kept giving. Grin

HexagonalBattenburg · 15/12/2018 10:42

End of a long term - they're knackered, the kids are knackered, little mildly annoying things the school's been doing all year are really starting to grate on parents... recipe for it on all sides to be fair. Add in the over-expectation of beautiful nativities John Lewis/Sainsburys advert style and the reality of your child being at the back behind the sheep with the enormous head so you don't get to see them and someone sitting in front of you to block your view and everyone's basically pissed off in general now.

Half of the staff at my kids' school are so loaded with colds they're doing very good impressions of Rudolf as well.

catkind · 15/12/2018 10:58

Hey don't knock third lobster Maisy. You never know with modern nativities, third chicken turned out to be a starring role in one local nativity.

MaisyPops · 15/12/2018 11:17

cat
All I can think of for nativity plays is Love Actually

catkind · 15/12/2018 11:22

Xmas Grin I'm all for a traditional lobster nativity.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 15/12/2018 12:24

I had no voice all last week which considering it was performance week plus Santa visit, jumper day, Christmas dinner day when we serve the children and sing and dance, oh and works do Friday.(I didn't go, I marked then went home and was asleep by half 8! Feel much better today.) one more week to go with Christmas cards, calendars and decorations to make. I think I will survive then it's on to Christmas 2 with my family!

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 15/12/2018 12:35

I suppose because their only objective in life is to hate children and pick on them, then when they have a bit of free time they like to respond to the hundreds of teacher slagging threads weekly on here.

I'd quite like to be a goady fucker teacher but what with getting home at 9pm for the past 3 nights, helping to organise a Christmas service/remembrance service for a student we lost in September and marking 154 mock tests before we break up (so the kids don't spend the holidays worrying about their results) I'm a tad busy.

housewifeoflittleitaly · 15/12/2018 12:43

Don’t be silly, teachers don’t have the time for mumsnet!

CupoBlood · 15/12/2018 14:35

@catkind yes exactly

OP posts:
Jackshouse · 15/12/2018 14:40

I read a nativity post the other day complaining it was religious Hmm

Can’t say I have read any teacher posts but I have noticed a few teacher bashing ones making me glad I’ve left teaching.
