Sipsmith lemon drizzle one is amazing.

Edinburgh Gin is also a really good brand and they have a Christmas one which has notes of frankincense, orange and cloves.

It depends on the recipient. I am a gin drinker, but prefer unflavoured gins. Hendricks, Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, Gordons (yes Gordons - in a blind tasting it came out very well)

28 Miles do gorgeous gin - all good but the Rose geranium is beautiful and unusual.

Silent Pool is really good and has a nice bottle

Sloe gin is quite a popular gift at this time of your. We are usually given some, quite pleasant but very sweet. I dilute with apple juice or lemonade.

Agree the sipsmith lemon drizzle one is amazing. I also like just plain Hendricks

Isle of Harris. It comes in a very beautiful bottle and tastes amazing. You can buy glasses that are made of the same glass as the bottle.

Scottish Rock Rose gin is sublime with a lovely subtle botanical flavour. My fave find this year has been Slingsby rhubarb gin from Harrogate. I couldn't drink the lemon drizzle - too sweet. But silent pool is very good and as a pp said, comes in a beautiful bottle - you can get matching glasses too. In fact my local pub has a silent pool branded glass ice bucket - I am coveting it!
