WTF is going on with Boots online???

Are they giving away free shit or what?! I’ve been trying all day to place a click and collect order of a bottle of my regular shampoo which my local boots doesn’t stock. The site has been completely crashed all morning and since about lunchtime you can “cue” for a slot. WTF? A quick search online said that they couldn’t cope with the sudden demand as it’s only just over a week to go until Xmas. But seriously, this is BOOTS! Are people suddenly panick buying mascara? I don’t get it Confused

Ah yes, just now managed to access the site. Still though, definitely crashed due to heavy traffic for hours today. Very odd.

The No7 gift is on offer this week, I think so that won’t help.

I used to work there, and it was like a jungle leading up to Christmas, so I can’t imagine what the online shop is like these days.

The big no.7 gift set went half price this morning. I ordered mine at 6.30 am! They really big this one up so maybe that accounts for it?

(Tbf it's the only thing I hang out for all year - the whole set is cheaper than the 2 face creams which I would be buying anyway. Suspect lots of people do the same!)

They don't seem to be able to cope this week. I ordered some stuff online on wednesday morning to collect from store yesterday and it's still not there for me to pick up. I understand that it's nearly Christmas, but why give options for collection dates they can't meet?!

It must be the No7 stuff. But seriously, it’s not a surprise that Christmas is just around the corner, is it? I don’t understand how they are this disorganised. They must have cost themselves a fortune in lost sales.

I kept getting a blue screen and a message saying they were very busy. Boots IT stuff must still be in the dark ages!
