Can I re-gift my fire tablet with the books still on it?

Hi I have a fire tablet that I would like to give to a friend for Christmas. Is it possible to keep the books on it? I think she would like to read some of them.

Only if you keep it registered to your Amazon account, but then she won't be able to add her own books.
