nope im binning mine cos i cant be fucked going

SantyClaws · 14/12/2018 18:43

Mine was a couple of weeks ago and DH and I went - was v nice. I'm one of the younger staff members at 43 Grin so it's just a nice dinner out.

DH's is an unofficial do tonight - a boozy boys night out that's starting far too late so he's sacked it off. Leave it to the young'uns Grin

ILoveAnOwl · 14/12/2018 19:30

I'm not going to either of the ones tonight or either of the ones I'm invited to tomorrow as I can't get a babysitter.

To put this in perspective, I've not been invited out since last year. Then I have to say no to four invites in two days.

I am feeling very sorry for myself...

Marmite27 · 14/12/2018 20:29

Mine was last week. Dinner dance at an extra-premiership football club, with a live band.

Our table was in a square between the gin bar, normal at and the loos. We had a fab night!

DH is out tonight. They’ve gone for a curry.

ClemDanFango · 14/12/2018 20:30

Ours has been cancelled, so many people pulled out last minute it’s been sacked off completely.

ApolloandDaphne · 14/12/2018 20:32

I don't have any Christmas parties and DH is away on business so i am all alone.

I have a terrible cold so i am taking two Night Nurse and having an early night.

Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle here. Xmas Sad

MaidenMotherCrone · 14/12/2018 20:32

They should just be sitting down to eat at mine.
Not going because I don’t want to. I hope they have a lovely time and I’ll hear all about it on Monday.

beela · 14/12/2018 20:33

Ours is tonight, I'm not going because I don't want to!

We have to pay for our own meal (public sector, no freebies), and I'd either have to drive or spend another £30 on a taxi home. Its freezing cold outside and I am inside with my DH and dc, pjs on and a glass of wine. I win Xmas Grin

beela · 14/12/2018 20:34

But yes, I hope they have a lovely time.

chasingcloudsforever · 14/12/2018 20:35

I miss going to Christmas Parties! Working in Hospitality sucks, Never a work do until well into the New Year then it never feels as Festive!

Ooplesandbanoonoos · 14/12/2018 20:38

Wish i was. In bed already with teething non sleeping baby who is EBF and refuses a bottle or dummy! At the moment I feel like I will never be able to go to a party again!!
Missed my office xmas do but doesn't sound like there was any goss to share!

anothermansmother · 14/12/2018 20:40

I'm not going to mine. I've done the food shop and an in my pjs watching tv after a lively hot bath. Loads of people have already messaged me to see when I'm arriving...I've told them all I'm not. I know one of them assumed I'd give her a lift home, so will be switching my phone off as she has a habit of calling if she can't get a cab to see if I can collect her!

anothermansmother · 14/12/2018 20:41

Lovely not lively...what is s lively bath?!

babysharkah · 14/12/2018 21:16

Nope. I've just over the hangover from mine in the week. I'm looking forward to going to. Ed very soon!
