Anyone know how to get rid of the smell of sweat, from a cotton sweatshirt? Ds has been wearing the same one for a week, and it stinks.... I've washed it twice, with no luck. Tia

You know it's got to be zoflora...

Are you using powder rather than liquid. I found liquid less efficient after a while.

Why the hell has your husband been wearing the same t shirt for a week? And why on Earth are YOU washing it and fretting about getting the smell out?!

If my DH ever wanted to have sex again he’d be setting light to that t shirt in a far away field and never being such a disgusting pig again.

Oops.....misread....it’s your son....sorry 😀

Still think he should be sorting it.

Vinegar squirted on the armpits and put in the washing machine drawer usually sorts out smells.

Whatthefunk · 14/12/2018 17:19

I'm fretting because, it's a bloody expensive sweatshirt, and I do most of the washing. As you were

Do you use powder or liquid? I had a huge problem getting smells out of clothes until i changed to powder.

JustWingingLifeAsUsual · 14/12/2018 17:49

Add Soda crystals with your detergent.

ollhe · 14/12/2018 17:53

I found biological detergent sorts this out. The non-bio stuff doesn’t have enough oomph.
But I’ve also used bicarb and vinegar as a paste which definitely works but is a faff 🤷‍♀️

Disinfectant in the machine. Learned this years ago from here
