Anyone else terrible at buying things?

I struggle so hard to make a decision about buying bigger things. Food is fine, but anything beyond day-to-day I find it hard to buy. As a result we tend to use things until they wear out - coats, shoes, TVs, everything. Saves money true, but sometimes I wish I found it easier to buy stuff. Anyone else?

Yup same here.

Had a buy nothing unless I needed 2016, still in the mode, I don't buy things for myself unless desperate, shoes/underwear clothes.

I find it easy to buy food and personal essentials like shampoo, make up ( nothing excessive)

Think I'm in a rut with it now, cannot even think about clothes shopping! Urgh.

I don't need a buy nothing unless I need it mode! That is my life. And I don't want it to be.

I'm the same. I talk myself out of buying stuff.

I’m a bit rubbish about essential clothes like underwear and jeans. I hate jeans shopping and I buy knew underwear when I need it, I never think “ooh I’ll treat myself to a new pair of knickers.”
I love wearing dresses though so I frequently buy more of those.
Things like appliances, we buy the best we can afford at the time and use it until it needs replacing.
My mum replaces loads of things every 2-3 years, things like sofas, dining tables, bbqs etc, just because she fancies a change.
We tend to opt for things that don’t really date, are quite inoffensive and not “in fashion”.
I think she’s very wasteful!

I totally get talking yourself out of buying things. This is me.
