Why are all these women sitting on the floor in their pants?’

I just received some wool carpet samples, lovely high quality stuff, but accompanied by this leaflet....is it just me or is this no better than having bikini babes sprawled on the bonnet of a new car? I’m mystified- surely women are the main decision-makers when it comes to carpet-buying. What on earth would make this company think that a half-naked blonde would seal the deal with me? Am I supposed to want to be her?

Never having bought into the whole Brazilian/Hollywood fad, I’d be wary of trying these wool carpets pantless. I’d worry I’d become sort of Velcroed on, unable to move until help arrived.

I have checked google images cats and it would appear that unless you are a man fitting laminate floor, no human ever walks/sits/arse scrapes anywhere near it. Furniture is permitted but that's it.

Carpets as San pro. I've missed a trick. Could have saved me hundreds of £ in sanitary towels over the years. At least carpets are unscented. But I guess you still have to pay the tax on carpets like you do with San pro? Are carpets classed as a luxury item?

The woman at the bottom of the second picture looks as though she's using the carpet to rub the hard skin off her heels. Which doesn't say much for the softness of the carpet does it?

Does anyone else find the possibile proximity of piles and pile here childishly funny? Or is it just me?

I dont like sitting around my house in jeans as they are too restrictive for expert lounging. I therefore take trousers off and sit as i currently am in a top; cardi and knickers. I do this ALL the time 🙈🙈🙈🙈

You're supposed to think "look at how much space she has! Its all so TIDY! Shes got nothing to do but sit around looking effortlessly casual with nothing to do but Pants Yoga. Clearly the only thing between me and this image is that I don't have the carpet, and it has NOTHING whatsover to do with the half-empty chocolate boxes and piles of washing that are scattered all over my tiny scruffy house".

I wouldn't like to sit on a pure wool carpet in just my pants, it would be itchy. I wouldn't want a spotty botty for Christmas.
