Tesco items showing as unavailable

Ive got my Chrustmas order booked for 22 Dec. All party type food. I noticed today that around half of it is currently showing unavailable. Has anyone noticed this in previous years and did it improve

As it is its now not needed til Dec 27 so im wondering if id be better changing to then and hoping they have post Christmas supplies in

It says on their website that Christmas items will appear as unavailable until the Christmas delivery period. I noticed it when I was looking for something yesterday.

If you go onto the item page it says "Part of our Festive Food To Order range. If you have this product in an order you’ve checked out but it’s showing up as unavailable, don’t worry, it will still be part of your order. The last day to check out items from this range is 14 December."

No its smaller items. The 3 for 2 things not the big party packs. They just show as unavailable not like the bigger items.

Starting to panic now

Well my carrots and parsnips are currently unavailable.

My plan is to go on the night before and check what is likely to be coming, if it's something I really need il see if there's an alternative.

Tesco do this all the time things flip between available and unavailable regularly but in lots of cases they come back in to stock by the time your order is due.

Just be carful though as if something is unavailable when your making changes to your basket and you don't pick an alternative when asked they delete it from the basket altogether so it looks as if you've never added it.
