A thread for those who are fed up with being rejected for jobs

It may just be me on my own, but I’ll give it a go anyway!

I have been rejected from about twenty jobs that I’ve had interviews with this year. I’m currently working, but in a company that I, for many reasons, want to leave ASAP. Today I was rejected by another company for a role identical to the one I do now. I honestly just give up (for this year anyway). I’m fed up of dressing up and being enthusiastic about whatever the company I’m interviewing at does. I’m fed up of companies not even following up after I’ve interviewed with them.

I’m lucky that I’m London based, there are a lot of potential roles open. There will be more next year. I just feel like I’ve had another kick in the teeth today. Another ‘you aren’t good enough’. And it’s hard to take rejection after rejection after rejection.

Anyone else with me in the land of the rejected? Holding out hope for next year as well?

I'm unemployed atm (I'm technically a pollster but pay is shit and it's comission based). I've had 8 job interviews this year, but uncountable amounts of CVs have been sent (so my CV/ Interview ratio is terrible). I've had three job offers (all shitry jobs) and now I'm waiting for what hopefully will be the job of my dreams but after they saying "it's going to be tough we've had such strong candidates you being one of them" I'm not as hopeful as I was before the interview.
