Echo Dot

So I have my new toy... Amazon Echo Dot. I don't know about many of her functions, so far I use her for an alarm, playing my Spotify playlists and tonight I have enabled the thunderstorm feature ... please share with me any other things she can do

Adding stuff to calendars & shopping lists... mine is in the kitchen also playing the radio. I'm watching with interest for people who know better!!

Say 'Alexa, fart'. One of the many features that my children love 🙈

Play games. Say you want to play a game and she'll suggest some.

Asking Alexa random questions such as who sang a particular song, distance to Moscow, time in LA or whatever I want to know at that time.
If you’ve got kids they might to ask how many sleeps until Christmas, Santa then tells you what he’s been doing that day, today he was making gingerbread houses

Oh yay!!! Sounds fun

I should also add that I don’t have kids and I’m 51

It's funny when the alarm goes off in the morning having to speak to turn it off or snooze her; my voice all croaky like I'm 85!!

" Echo... STOP!!!" .....mine is called Echo as my son has Alexa and they were getting confused!
