Which charity to support?

That's it really, if you were running a race for a charity which would you pick? I've no real reason for choosing any one over another. NSPCC, Cancer research, Mind, Alzheimer's?

I'd be tempted to support a smaller local charity. They're often doing amazing things on a shoestring and the staff will be so pleased to have someone raising their profile & money for them.
