Blinkng Hermes I might have known. The seller is lovely and i feel bad asking for a refund but the hand made Xmas wreath was posted ten days ago now. The tracking on ebay said firstly it was too big so theyve changed delivery then yesterday it said they would try to deliver. They never did and surely if they had they would've left a card? I received three parcels yesterday so my bell was working.

Ask for a refund as it has not arrived. Ebay will find in your favour, it doesn't matter how nice the seller is you don't have the item you paid for. Then go and buy a fresh wreath from a local florists or market. there's no reason you should miss out on having a nice wreath on your door. Xmas Grin

Does it look on that history that they have actually tried to deliver it

No it doesn't the timing of the delay is in the timing of the delivery window. Ebay will refund you if you open an item not received case. They would only find in the sellers favour if it showed as delivered which it doesn't.

I used to work for a delivery company (not Hermes).

It is the seller that has the contract with the delivery firm, not the recipient. If the recipient does not have the good, they are entitled to not pay for it. The seller then needs too take it up with the courier.

It’s not going to be very fresh by the time it arrives
