Present idea needed urgently please

I’m looking for a big main present for a just turned 9 year old girl for Xmas. We have a few small bits and pieces but are totally stuck for the main one. It’s that tricky in between stage that I remember from her older siblings but I really need to sort something out ASAP.

Trying to avoid a mountain of tat and plastic and single use things so If you have an 8-9 year old girl what on earth are you giving them this year?

Mine is nearly 9. She is getting harry potter lego which she has asked for. She likes our generation girl dolls and does play with them a lot. She is also getting books, a spy kit and some how to train your dragon playmobil. Not getting a real 'wow present this year but has big bike, scooter etc and we don't really have tech so wouldnt get her a tablet or anything. She loves to type and would probably love a laptop, maybe next year for that

Sorry, had one of those afternoons and completely forgot I’d posted. Great ideas thank you, we have roller skates and a hatchimal already but the sewing machine is a potential winner. We did a scooter for birthday so don’t need another any time soon. Lego is always a winner too and stationery. There just isn’t a big wow present for this age group is there lol and I guess the next one will be a phone for secondary school in a couple of years. A few more bits and pieces it is then, she’ll be happy anyway.
