Hi, so I would hugely appreciate any advice on this issue... we have recently had an extension built and the the builders quoted for velux windows having reviewed plans etc, during the build they discussed that velux wouldn't fit and we agreed that was okay. There were no further discussions on this until a couple of months later they fitted windows which we assumed were something temporary as they hadn't asked us anything about the spec, brands available etc. Another month later when we got an updated quote we found that these were almost double the original price and that they had been made by the builder and so came with no guarantee or warranty other than their promise to rectify any issues. We are really uncomfortable about it , is it possible to ensure they honour the original price if we do have to keep the windows ? Thank you so much
