Mcdonalds coke

How disappointing is it when you go for that sip to realise the syrup has ran out and your left with a weird fizzy mix of nothing.

I know it's a third world problem but bloody hell I needed the sugar fix.

Do they not have a light on the machine that tells them or do they wait for it to be clear before they change it.

Didn’t you just ask for another one ?

I always take my own juice, I cannot stand McD's juice. Sprite tastes rank, the cola is always flat.

I'm confused as to why you think this is a Mcdonalds problem. You could have the same problem in a pub, restaurant or any other location that serves soft drinks.

Surely you just ask for another?

Well it's a maccys problem when you buy it there. Not saying it's not the same in pubs. I was at the drive thru so didn't have any til I got home. Was only light hearted.

Its so devastating lol. I hate when it happens. Hungry jacks never seem to run out

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 13/12/2018 10:23

Their drinks are never right!

AdamNichol · 13/12/2018 10:32

Sometimes you know with the coke / fanta due to the colour. When the sprite is naught but soda water though [spew face]

First world Grin

Actually I think it is a particular issue to do with fast food chains because the drinks are served in opaque cartons and often taken away before they are tasted. By the time you realise the rest of your food etc is rapidly going limp and cold.

In pubs etc they tend to be in glasses and drunk on the premises so if the server doesn't spot the syrups on it's way out you can still usually take it back and swap it once you taste it.

Ooops. Lack of sleep makes me dumb. Haha. Yeah that's true. Oh well. Off to get a bottle of the stuff instead.

Our local McDs seem to have something weird going on with their coke. It always tastes like vodka and coke to me. DP thought I was crazy til he got one recently and said it tastes exactly how I described. Vile.
