Past couple of days close family member has been criticaly I’ll for a few days he’s given me no real sympathy he’s been working late and of no real support. Early Today family member passed away. I’ve been home from work early crying my eyes out as it was unexpected. Thought he would at least come home early than normal his finish time is 5.30 but he chooses to stay late tonight he’s chosen to stay late all I want is some support and I being unreasonable

YANBU. He sounds unsupportive. Is that normal for him?

Sorry for your loss.

Dump him as he's not stepped up and been a supportive partner to you. No doubt if it was the other way round, he'd expect you to drop and run. He's being emotionally abusive by being cold and detached, a bit like a human robot.

He’s been like this from day one when I met him his dad died when he was 13 he’s never had any emotions thinks it’s to do with that I don’t no
