just doing my tax return and tgeres a new feature where you can see your state pension details... what i hadnt realised is that despite not being in employment i still get national insurance credits as ive been claiming child benefit.... is this correct?

Yes. This is why SAHM/SAHDs should claim child benefit even if their partner earns over the threshold to pay it back.

but tgen it has stopped after my dd became 12 years old... i claimed cb and repaid

Yes, I believe the NI credits do only apply up until a child is 12 - I think the government expects people to be able to work after that as the child is old enough to need less looking after.
