I'm taking DD and friends to a concert there next year. Ideally we'll get a train there and back. The last train home leaves New Street @11.15pm and I think the concert will finish at 10.30pm.
This means we'll have 45 mins to get to the station and find the platform etc. No doubt they won't be out of the concert at 10.30pm on the dot so I thought we'd get a taxi (Google maps tells me its an 18 minute walk; might be longer if we get a bit lost).
Are there generally taxis outside the Arena waiting or do I need to book something?

Tbh, I'd just walk. It's a fairly straightforward route. The traffic around kicking-out time can be horrific so not sure a taxi would be much quicker.

I agree. Walk through the convention centre, it's faster.

Thanks

Actually I won't get lost because I'll have time to practice the walk whilst they are inside. Will the convention centre be open late at night?
