My gorgeous coat has bobbled

Trashed by carrying heavy work laptop! Nasty bobbling - what’s the safest way to restore it?

Thanks

Buy a de-bobbler!

Lakeland has one www.lakeland.co.uk/24770/Lakeland-Bobble-Buster-Lint-%26-Fuzz-Remover-Clothes-Shaver. But I'm sure there are loads out there.

Just be careful to de-bobble very carefully so you don't damage the actual fabric of the coat.

Would a debobbler thingy work on it? I think they are officially called Fabric Fuzz/Fluff removers but we call it the debobbler. Grin

Shave it with a razor, very lightly

I have a debobbler from whitestuff and it’s fab

Ah, so I've found loads on Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_9/262-8180404-6918437?sprefix=fuzz+remo%2Caps%2C234&crid=1PXE1BXGZCQBF&tag=mumsnetforum-21&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=fuzz+remover+for+clothes.

As I said earlier, just be very careful when you de-bobble - make sure it's picking up the bobbles, but not too close to the main fabric to cause damage.

Thanks for replies. I have asked Santa for a debobbler
