Theresa May. I predict she'll win the no confidence vote.

bellinisurge I agree with you. Most Tory MPs will look around and realise that if she's ousted, her replacement will be deeply unpopular and will not be able to deliver the brexit that many seem to expect. At the inevitable general election next year, they stand a good chance of being punished and out of a job.

No Boris Johnson is too much of a narcissist to care if he is unpopular.

Theresa May. There isn't anyone less unsuitable right now and even the current government isn't stupid enough to go farting around looking for a successor with everything else that's going on. I predict TM will comfortably win the confidence vote. Whether she is still Conservative leader and/or Prime Minister in a year's time remains to be seen.

She'll win. Her speech this morning put her case quite clearly and concisely.

It put her case to us. We are not voting.

Amber Rudd is my guess.
