I sat through the most bizarre Nativity/school concern today

The Reception class had 'written their own' which incorporated three Marys, a dinosaur and Spiderman.

It was a total rammy, and not even in the funny way, just in a cringey way. Everyone was sitting making polite grimaces.

Then the school choir came on stage and the teacher did a solo which lasted longer than any of the children singing

It sounds.....hilarious!

They're only reception bless them, maybe next year it'll be more traditional.

I swear more parents have to ask about the school nativity when choosing a school! The school my dc attended made it with no reference to anything Christmas related year after year (wouldn’t want to offend anyone therefore nothing related mentioned).

I think I might laugh at it in years to coming but sitting in the hall was definitely a 'WTF' moment (as the dinosaur stomped into the stable).

I would have enjoyed that 🤣
