I was in close contact with baby DGD five days ago. Not feeling too good today and wondering how it starts in adults.

When I had it it felt like tonsillitis to start with and then I got stingy wee blisters on my fingers and tongue

I got a fever 4-5 days after catching it. I felt dreadful. I've never got full feeling back on some of my fingertips either.

Sounds horrible ! No fever, just feel headachey and off colour. Slight sore throat on one side and my lips are tingling !

Yes, I've had it both times my ds had it but much, much milder than him. Started with a sore throat and what I thought were mouth ulcers, then I felt a bit like I had a cold and got tiny blisters on the palms of my hands and soles of feet. I also had what looked like spots at the corners of my mouth. I didn't feel too bad with it, just uncomfortable and a bit disgusting! Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah man it was fucking awful. Not to be the bearer of bad news.

Hands were itching like mad, I didn't sleep for 3 nights because of the itching. Feet too. Mouth ulcers, ugh.

Doc said I had a bad strain of it though, I'm sure yours won't be as bad.

Thank you ! I'm hoping it's just a cold starting. I rotate around 5 grandkids doing childcare for 3 days a week, and they won't want a virus sharing around.
