My purse was stolen, fucking raging

Out earlier today, put purse in my bag in Sainsbury’s (actually video footage of me doing this as friend was filming her DS dancing next to me!) then hand a wander round the absolutely packed market stopping at a few stalls here and there then look down and realise my bag is open and some absolute scummy cunt has nicked my purse!

All my bank and store cards are in there (they did a contactless payment before I even realised!), some overtime money I purposely worked my arse off for for DDads present and most importantly (ok it’s all important!) some lovely drawings and letters my ex-charges have written to me over the last couple of years. I’m so upset about them and absolutely fucking furious at myself and the cunt who stole

Did you inform the police?
Is it worth claiming on insurance (if you have cover)?

Go back and look in nearby bins. Prob find it.

No point claiming on insurance unfortunately but checking the bins is a good idea! I’ve waved goodbye to the money and cards but to get the letters back would be very very lovely

Was your driving licence in there? Anything else like EHIC? I'm sorry this happened to you OP.

I agree with PP to go back to the nearest bins, alot of purses end up tossed after taking money and hopefully the letters are still inside. Sorry this happened, it's a horrible feeling.

I’ve had a scout around the bins (ignoring the odd looks!) but no luck, unfortunately pretty much all the bins are like these so a total nightmare to look in

I’m so upset about the letters and sentimental bits.

Put it on Facebook someone may "find" the empty purse
