Mysimba weight loss pill - have you taken it or know someone who has?

Hi All. Mysimba has just been approved for use in Australia (as Contrave) but it's a bit hard to find much about people's experiences via Google.

Have you taken it or do you know anyone who has?

Thank you :)

Sounds dodgy.

The name does sound dodgy - a bit Lion King. But it wouldn't be funded by the government if it wasn't a proper thing. It was approved in parts of Europe in 2014.

I feel this has to be answered in context. What makes you feel that this is the right choice for you versus other methods and how much do you have to lose?

If you are struggling with genuine appetite issues, then these Pills help.

I'm on one in the UK via a private Doctor and it's helped me lose three stone, I've got another two to go.

It doesn't help with comfort eating and you've still got to eat well.

So it isn't the answer for everyone.

I've just read through the patient leaflet and it seems similar to mine.

You stop getting it if you aren't losing a certain amount of weight.

You have to be monitored to check blood pressure etc whilst on it.

If you are obese and think it's a solution for you, try it.

xsahm I'm just after people's experiences but thanks.

It's only been announced on today's news in Australia but the UK has had it for a bit longer, I think.
