Little gifts to say goodbye

I’ve been volunteering for 6 years with a group of children. I leave next week and as with any ending it’s going to be tough. They are a great group of children and I have loved my time with them. I’d like to get them something but there are a few of them so it’s going to have to be a token. I also thought of cards as they are 11 now. Any ideas about what to write? I don’t know if it’s cause I’m sad to be going but I’m blanking on creativity but wanted them to know how much they’ve meant. I was very ill before I started and have gone into remission during my time with them but they helped me rebuild my life more than I think they will ever know.

I feel a personal wish in a card for their future and a little mention of something in the past?

When I volunteered in a school and had to move on, I made them all a bookmark which before I laminated I wrote an individual note to each child.

A bookmark is a lovely idea.

Dd once got a home made fridge magnet from a teacher. It's still on the fridge over 10 years on.
