....Because David bloody "Look at me!!!!!" Walliams is in it, looks like he is playing Jack Barker.

Also, as it was written before Diana died, I assume they will have made some serious changes (perhaps mashing it up with Queen Camilla?) and I loved the way ST wrote about the Charles/Diana marriage and his crush on Beverly Threadgold and her varicose veined legs!

I will watch but am preparing myself to be disappointed.....

And just read that he is executive producer on it, so fully expect Jack Barker be a much bigger part than he was in the book.

Who wrote the book?

Maybe Walliams has a contract with Sky as he did Ratburger on Sky One last Christmas which did well?

Sue Townsend wrote it, and the follow up Queen Camilla. I highly recommend them :)

I didn't know there was an adaptation. I'll give it a look but hmmmmmm.

The Queen and I is a brilliant book, well written and the satire is spot on

(I'm a bit of a Townsend fan)

I am a huge Townsend fan too, I am currently listening to the Adrian Moles via Audible, only problem is that my 1 credit a month isnt enough to keep up with my consumption! I had the same problem with Terry Pratchett!
