I had (sob) a long bob that had grown a bit too long and unruly. Popped into my local regis on the off chance they could fit me and and they did (hoorah!). Explained to the girl cutting my hair that I wanted about an inch off the length, pointed to long bob length and off she went.
She took so much time cutting my hair in ways I have never seen before and I kept thinking "maybe it will be better when it is blow dried". Nope. Staring back at me was the spit of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka complete with curled up ends. The hair at the nape of my neck underneath is about an inch long with some hideously short layers at the back creating a "I'd like to speak to the manager "effect at the back.
I've had haircuts that I haven't been enamoured with before, but this time I actually said "I'm sorry I really hate it". She then hacked away a bit more, straightened it and I cut my losses as they were closing up and it was awkward.
I look like an edwardian boy!! Any tips for how to style this out until it grows a bit? Any more styling is going to require length taken off.
