I am thinking of having DC (9 mo) in a travel cot for the next year before we move. I have a proper cot but restricted on space so would prefer to not use this yet.
If I get a thick mattress can I use the travel cot for a while longer? I know when he's bigger there is a tipping risk so would move to proper cot then but apart from that can I just use a travel cot for now (have the joie commuter cot which i really like)
Additionally I need a mattress for both cots as the wooden one is a hand me down (10 years old so will be safe bar width etc). Which websites are most trustworthy for mattresses? JL and Mothercare don't have the size I need and I don't know which websites have the best quality and safest products.
