1. They actually sell chocolate wellies
2. You are Mistress Of Disguise

Perhaps DH could get you a set of false moustaches for Christmas & you could return under assumed identity? Though on second thoughts, that might not help the situation after all.

They do sell chocolate wellies thankfully which I did manage to purchase in shame, figuring I might as well style it out (difficult with a 3 year old in tow!)

Disguise might be the only way forward. Or sell up and leave the country before I have to give them an invoice at the end of the month

You can also go with Pretending They Definitely Misheard And Being Rather Shocked. As a back-up in case the disguise inexplicably fails to fool them. Pretending to be your own twin might be worth a try?
