Anyone know anything about dashcams?

FIL wants one for Xmas but I’ve no idea. Budget is up to £80. Any recommendations?

Which? tests them and has a website.

I’ve just chosen a Nextbase 312 as my Christmas present. It was about £80 on Amazon. My friend has one and I’ve seen the footage which is good quality. It has a facility to save by pressing a button or auto save if it senses a bump. Records speed as well.

DH who knows about stuff rates Nextbase. We both have one.

I use a nextbase, it's the type that fits over the interior mirror.

The picture is brilliant and I like the fact the mirror is now bigger than the cars.
