Why am I finding this so difficult!

Trying to book a flight to escape Christmas! Went to the US last year on a whim and loved it, and vowed to go again this year. But every time I go to book it I seem to chicken out!! I don't understand why- I'm planning to go to the exact same place, and you'd think having done it once it would be easier this time, not harder?!

Anyone?

There must be something here holding you back? Or maybe you told yourself you loved it but deep down you didn’t?

It could be both! I'm not sure what's stopping me- I think partly the travel and distance....I don't want to stay here for the holidays but I'm worried something will happen to me if I go! Ridiculous!

I don’t know,but you know you don’t have to go anywhere.You don’t have to look to others as if you are having a high flying time jetting off somewhere or anything if you don’t really want to.Stay home in your pjs if you want,honestly no-one will pass much remarks either way.

Do a Miranda ! Book a uk hotel but pretend you are abroad !!! Much cheaper and could be fun ! Pick a hotel in a place you have never visited before and enjoy !

Ha ha! That's a good idea! I think it's more about escaping Christmas at any cost, but maybe I'm wondering why I should have to escape it at all! I really had a great time last year, odds are I will this time! I wonder why I've procrastinated so long!

How do you feel about choosing somewhere else. I think if my gut was telling me not to go somewhere, I would listen. Maybe you aren't supposed to go there this time op.

Urgh, this is so hard! I do want to go, I don't want to go somewhere cold, e.g., europe! Maybe I wish I wasn't going alone.
