Would you recommend it?

Is it really hectic and noisy? Would it suit an older child with some sensory issues?

Will be different than previous years as it's been taken over by a new events team. There was articles in media about this as they previously ran the local Geronimo festival over the past few years... they went into vol. liquidation over the summer so artists and performers were not paid.
there is an article in MEN about an autism session there evening of Dec 12th... might be worth a read to see if you think standard session is suitable?
I've not heard any feedback on if any good this year but previously I know people who really enjoyed but we just thought it was an indoor fair ... not Christmas event at all.
gift or picture with Santa is extra.

It's VERY noisy.

Ds1 went at 12 and has no SEN issues and he was almost crying at the music they played in the foyer. It felt like my heart was shaking.

It's basically an indoor fair. Lots of rides and 'try to win a teddy' stalls

A few shows going on but most kids apart from small ones ignored them.

It was ok. Haven't been back, we went 3 years ago
